The Adventure of the Comely Tourist

39 steps Story Shortlisted 1

I love art inspired by art and have written ekphrastic prose poems. Steps to water reminds me of the river I grew up on, between Canada and the USA.

Hidden among the yellow-clad, I clamour down bedrock. Who, besides me, hangs back from the wonder of the Falls? A give away. Yes, I have seen those misted lashes and licked her mascara river, when she shed crocodile tears.
